Baking with Gab started because I bake too much and take photos of what I bake! I like my food simple, pretty and delicious. If your baking looks good but is tasteless, you need to re-evaluate.
I’m not a perfect baker by any means. I forget to sift my flour and substitute granulated sugar when I don’t have caster sugar. I over-whip cream and take shortcuts when I can. And I always melt my butter when I only intend to soften it.
I often talk to inanimate objects as well.
When I’m not baking, I enjoy reading, writing, travel and photography.
I work and attend uni as well as blogging about my baking escapades, but baking and eating take up most of my time!
I also love dachshunds, floral/animal prints and tea – not necessarily in that order. My Norman may pop up in posts every now and then, keep an eye out for him! He’s all over my Instagram.
