I’m not really one for Valentine’s Day. I’ve never been keen on red roses, I’m not a fan of the clichés. I’m really not much of a romantic at all. When asked the other day about the most romantic thing the Boy had ever done for me, my response was that he got me Daisy for my birthday.
My idea of romance involves sausage dogs. Yup.
Even though I’m a romantic dud, I do love putting cute finishing touches on food. I’ve spoken before about feeding being one of the most basic expressions of love, so putting extra effort into an item of food that is going to be demolished by your loved one(s) must mean extra love.
If you’re equally as un-phased about Valentine’s Day as I am, make these little guys on Feb 10th! They’re simple, delicious, impressive, and it doesn’t need to be Valentine’s Day for you to feed up your significant other.
Blueberry cream:
Makes 12
- ¼ cup frozen blueberries
- 115g cup cream cheese
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp icing sugar
- 12 chocolate cups (mine are from Woolworths)
- Sprinkles (optional)
Get your blueberries out of the freezer and allow them to thaw for about 10 minutes before you intend to use them. Cream together cream cheese and vanilla. Add in the blueberries and icing sugar, then whip on a medium-high speed for at least two minutes.
Keep your chocolate cups in the fridge until you intend to use them.
Scoop the mixture into a piping bag and pipe into your chocolate cups. Top with sprinkles. Enjoy!

Maybe I’ve have more luck giving these little bundles of yum as a gift… Last time I bought flowers they were “too smelly” and ended up in the garage! haha
Haha! What kind of flowers were they?! That is a fantastic story lol. These are super simple, and not smelly at all 😜
They look so delicious and cute!
Thank you 😊 they were gobbled up pretty quickly!
What an adorable little treat! I’m not a Valentine’s Day kinda gal either, but I do love these!
Thank you! You’re too sweet 😄
